Brenda formed a bookkeeping company that she
operated successfully for many years. In 1988 a client approached her to manage his self-storage facilities, which opened up a whole new business world. Since then, she has been a key player in the self-storage industry for nearly thirty years, specializing in full-service management, consulting, and training. In addition to her comprehensive, hands on, management strategy, she also developed a consulting plan designed to meet the needs of store owners in marketing and training during troubling economic times. For the last twelve years, Brenda has also served as Treasurer and member of the Board of Directors for One City Ministries.

After managing her family’s air conditioning business for nearly ten years, Sherri joined Accountable Management in 1989. She worked with Brenda to develop processes and procedures while building the business. She also did every facet of property management including employee relations, site visits, and setting up new facility offices, along with office duties – both administrative and financial. As the business continued to expand, Sherri worked to improve office procedures, record keeping processes and financial reporting to
better meet clients’ needs. In 2001 she enrolled at the University of South Florida to complete her BA in business with a focus on accounting and graduated with honors. Sherri’s goal continues to be providing our clients with the best possible service. She also has served as the bookkeeper for One City Ministries for the past three years.

Tara began working at Accountable Management while she was in high school, she served in a variety of roles, learning all aspects of the business. Tara attended USF and obtained a bachelor's degree in Social Work. She then received an MBA with a focus on Business Management. Several years later she returned to USF to get her lean six sigma green belt certification. Throughout her career Tara has worked in the for-profit sector, higher education and non-profit sector. It has been her life-long passion to help others in whatever capacity she can. Wherever Tara calls home she brings a unique set of skills that allows her to see the big picture and support all roles to be efficient team players.
Janet joined the Accountable Management team in 1990 as a self-storage manager along with her husband. Janet joined the Accountable Management team in 1990 as a self-storage manager along with her husband. Over her thirty plus years, she has exceled in many positions including general management, travelling site inspector, and marketing director. Over the past several years, Janet has evolved into a new position as the service manager for our clients’ properties as well as tenant relations. In this capacity, she is integral to the success of those properties, and keeping the tenants happy. When time allows, Janet also helps with office responsibilities, and billing.
